This is the focal point of the CHCP, which provides a place for each child to tell their story as best they can. Each record, listed alphabetically on the left, will indicate some key information, which was taken from their official record, pictured above.

Each pin offers the following information on a Home Child: 

LAST First Names

Date of Birth  (YYYY-MM-DD)

Age: Age of the child upon their arrival to Canada

Year: The last year where the child's welfare was looked into by an inspector

L.A.C. Database Number: A number you can use in the link provided in the archives page that will help you locate the child's file

Héritage location: The reel and image number of the child's file, included above

Notes: any notes written by the inspector have been transcibted here.
